BWXT's Nuclear Operations Group - Mt.
Vernon is currently seeking a Quality Training Coordinator for its Mt.
Vernon, IN location! As a Quality Training Coordinator, you will develop training plans, deliver training and maintain training records.
You will also assist in the execution of certificate programs for Quality Inspectors.
Essential Functions/
Responsibilities:
Develop training plans.
Design and deliver Quality programs to train all site personnel.
Conduct initial and recurring training.
Develop and proctor written examinations as applicable.
Manage Quality curriculum within Learning Management System.
Assist NAVSEA Examiners in the execution of Non-Destructive (NDT) and Dimensional certificate programs.
Collaborate with Quality Control to develop Detailed Inspection Test Sheets and training.
Develop and maintain metrics that measure and drive training effectiveness.
Participate in employee orientation training and manage Quality department structured on the job training (SOJT) programs.
Required
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in STEM field with 3-5 years of experienceor eight years' experience coordinating and/or delivering technical training.
Knowledge of learning theories, methods, or techniques including computer-based training.
Working understanding of Quality Management Systems, NDT inspection methods, General Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and Metrology technology.
Able to demonstrate superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must be a U.
S.
Citizen with no dual citizenship.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.
S.
Department of Energy L clearance.
